The owners and principal management of GeoPro, Inc. have a combined experience of over 50 years within the ground source heat pump design and installation. In addition to successfully running the company, GeoPro’s management is actively involved in training, the re-writing of educational manuals and standards development for the geothermal heating and cooling industry. GeoPro, Inc. is committed exclusively to the ground source heat pump technology and what it stands for.
GeoPro Was the First:
- At developing a thermal grout for the ground source heat pump industry.
- At obtaining State regulatory approval when required for using thermally-enhanced grouting mixtures.
- To obtain NSF (National Sanitation Foundation) certification to NSF/ANSI standard 60 for thermally-enhanced grouts.
- To educate mechanical engineers about the cost advantages of considering thermal grouts on commercial projects.
- At assisting industry software developers with correct algorithms that model the effect of thermally-enhanced grouts (generically) within their ground loop design software.
- To develop a “selectable” product, where the ratio of components could be adjusted in the field to achieve a targeted thermal conductivity value (within a range) as specified by the Mechanical Engineer of Record.
- To implement routine independent testing of hydraulic and thermal conductivity performance to ASTM testing standards (ASTM D-5084 for Hydraulic Conductivity and ASTM D-5334 for Thermal Conductivity).
- To implement a field quality control program, where site mixed samples are routinely sent to GeoPro directly from project sites, on a blind sample bases, then tested for actual thermal performance to ASTM D-5334.
- To offer “guaranteed” loopfield design assistance to Mechanical Engineers with little to no ground loop heat exchanger design experience.
Since 1995, GeoPro has been the leading supplier of thermal grout products worldwide. No other thermally-enhanced grouting product in the market has been independently tested or put to use as extensively as GeoPro’s Thermal Grout Lite or Thermal Grout Select products.
GeoPro has an internal quality control program where each production run is carefully evaluated to ensure the highest level of product consistency, which has become expected of our customer base. Consequently, the majority of our customers are repeat users of our Thermal Grout products.
