Grout Sample CollectorGeoPro has developed a custom grout sample collector which makes the process of taking a proper grout sample for thermal conductivity testing faster, easier and cleaner.

Using a Grout Sample Collector

  1. Thoroughly mix GeoPro’s Thermal Grout product according to the mixing instructions found on each bag.
  2. IMPORTANT: Prior to pumping, disengage the mixing paddles until they come to a COMPLETE stop.
  3. Hold the Grout Sample Collector (GSC) by the rubber handle so that it is hanging in a vertical position.
  4. Immerse the GSC into the vat of mixed grout (WITH THE MIXING PADDLE STOPPED) until the rubber handle just touches the fluid surface at the Dip Point.
  5. Agitate the GSC up and down several times (3 – 5 times should be sufficient), never extracting completely or inserting deeper than the bottom of the rubber handle.
  6. Once completed, extract the GSC completely from the fluid grout and holdover the mouth of an empty Sample Container supplied by GeoPro.
  7. Lower the GSC into the Sample Container until the stinger presses against the bottom of the container and empties the complete contents of the Collection Tank into the Sample Container.
  8. Sample Container should be completely full.
  9. Rinse off the GSC for future use.
  10. Resume the grouting process by pumping the contents from the mixing tank.
  11. Tightly seal the Sample Container with the lid that comes with the container and complete the Sample Submission Sheet that is supplied with the container and return to GeoPro in the supplied return carton.
